Our story
Dirty Words started in 2021 as a small burlesque show but has since evolved into something much more powerful. We produce immersive theatre experiences and Avante Garde adult story telling events. Ultimately, we wanted to create opportunities for our community to learn and connect in a space where they are safe to express themselves unconditionally. Dirty Words is more than just a smutty production company; we are artists and performers who believe in the value of shining light onto things too often pushed into the shadows.
Why so much focus on Erotica?
Because it is the one point that connects all of humanity together across time and space no matter where we come from or who we are. We are about bringing the "forbidden" out into the open and allowing our audience to explore their own depths, their own prejudices, and their own pleasures without a need for the mask.
As a result, we have watched this production grow from a room of about 25 enthusiastic people, to huge sold-out multi-night productions. We may exist on the fringes, but that is where we find each other.
