The Smut Lab
Ever wanted to write your own naughty story but didn’t know where to start? The Dirty Words Smut Lab is where you open that bedroom door.
For five weeks, you’ll have a dedicated, judgment-free space to explore your kinkiest ideas, get guidance from someone who’s read more Penthouse Letters than anyone should, and share with a community of like-minded weirdos. Play with your voice, stretch your imagination, and push boundaries without fear.
This isn’t a lecture. This is hands-on, unapologetic creation. You’ll write, experiment, and receive live feedback and group critique to sharpen your story into something truly nasty, clever, and readable.
By the end, you’ll have a chance to be selected to perform your work—or witness it performed—at the Smut Salon, sharing your creations with a live audience in a supportive, playful, and welcoming environment.
The Smut Lab is appropriate for all experience levels.
Writers must be 21+ to sign up
Classes will run weekly on Sundays starting January 4th, 2026 at 2pm and ending February 8th, 2026 at b5 pm.

Welcome to the Smut Salon!
What is a "Smut Salon" you ask? It is how you find the lit, dear friends. Here we will explore smut through storytelling, poetry, and history. We'll be reading smut works from local authors (that's you), some funny shit from published works, and hear about some really crazy anecdotes from history, and all the smutty like. We are always accepting erotic writing and reading submissions!
Writers:
Don't worry, your stories can stay anonymous if you want to. Writers can submit any kind of originally written literature; short stories, poetry, manifestos-- anything goes as! The only stipulation is that submitted work must be readable (out loud) in 10 minutes or less.
Readers:
Don't have something to submit but still want to read something? Yes please! Our submission form covers that too.

We will provide you a rich experience specifically tailored to your event and personal interest including but not limited to burlesque, storytelling, poetry reading, interactive ad-lib stories, discussion panels, even naughty history lessons, or whatever unique requests you might have
